BETV has launched!
For the first time in history, Eventing enthusiasts are being given unprecedented access to events, training and top riders, as British Eventing (BE) launches a brand new online platform, BETV.
The new online TV channel offers fans the chance to watch exclusive videos from British Eventing, including training tips, advice for around the yard, behind the scenes clips from exciting BE events and top rider interviews. We kick off the season at Burnham Market Horse Trials and catch up with Alec Lochore, Oliver Townend, Kitty King, Yogi Breisner and others to discuss their plans for this Olympic year. Our training videos offer tips on dealing with corners, banks and steps, drop fences and other cross country questions, while our yard series offers practical tutorials on horse care.
BETV aims to prove an excellent resource for BE’s already significant contribution to rider training, offering how to videos to complement the extensive programme of training courses already on offer.
David Holmes, British Eventing Chief Executive, commented: “British Eventing is delighted to launch the new BETV website, which we hope will attract Eventing enthusiasts from all over the world. The site will be a fantastic way for us to keep both members and fans of the sport up to date with news, training and live streaming from the sport. We hope that this free to access site will prove to be popular with riders, volunteers, supporters and spectators alike and that they will get behind and enjoy this exciting new channel of BE.”
Gavin Miller, Managing Director, Archant Dialogue, commented: “We’re delighted and proud to have created and developed a brand new online TV platform for British Eventing, for which we are also shooting and editing content, on location. This new channel will serve relevant video to the Eventing community everywhere and is a genuine game changer in attracting new fans to a very dynamic sport.”
