Eventing in Britain is the perfect spectator sport with more than 150 fixtures scheduled across the season attended by over one million spectators at a range of stunning locations. Attending as a fan is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with friends and family as well as spotting some of the stars of our sport. The shopping is fantastic and events have a range of tradestands and eateries for you to enjoy. If you don't ride or have a horse, eventing is a sport where you can still be close to the action. Events at all levels welcome spectators and offer the opportunity to see the world's top riders in action, and it's often free to get in at the lower levels!
Many events are held at some of the country's most beautiful locations, unique farmland settings and stately homes. There is often fantastic shopping and food to enjoy as well as activities for all the family.

What to expect
A day out at a British Eventing event can be great fun for the whole family. Many events have trade stands and delicious eateries, and these will be in abundance at the larger events. There are often activities for children to enjoy so everyone is happy, and with various classes regularly held on the same day, you will be able to watch a range of horses at different levels. Many events are also the perfect setting for a picnic. Make sure you check the event schedule for specific details and to check when the cross country will be running!
