Job Title: Social Media Intern

Job type: Part-time, hybrid remote/office based at Abbey Park, Stoneleigh/on-event working during the season March to October
Reports to: Communications and Content Manager
Salary: £TBC 

Purpose of the job:

British Eventing are looking for a driven and highly motivated social media intern to assist with event promotion and content creation during the season. 

Responsibilities:

-You will be required to monitor social media channels over the weekend, and ideally attend an event on either a Saturday or Sunday to gather content and material including photography, videography and interviews. You will also help to tell BE's story by sharing grassroots stories.

-You will also be required to plan and schedule copy on social media and liaise with event organisers to create a social media plan for events both pre- and post-event.

-You will have a knowledge of eventing and social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and X, and be able to create engaging and well-written content for use across all channels. 

-This paid seasonal position will run from March to October and be a mixture a working in the office (based at Abbey Park, Stoneleigh), at home and at events.
