Behind BE

British Eventing is the National Governing Body for the sport of eventing in Great Britain. We regulate and schedule events and training throughout England, Scotland and Wales across the season for our members.

Eventing combines dressage, show jumping and cross country in one exciting competition. It is one of the few sports where men and women compete against each other on equal terms. The eventing season runs from March to October, with competitions from introductory level through to the highest international level. Winter competitions are held during the off season, providing a good introduction to the sport or the perfect opportunity for riders to improve their skills and prepare for the season ahead.

British Eventing is run by a dedicated team who work together to enable the sport to take place to the highest possible standards.
