Owing to the extent of damage caused to the land by those attending a food festival which ran at the event venue over the weekend we have regrettably had to make the decision to cancel Skipton Horse Trials scheduled to run on the 5th / 6th August . Unfortunately owing to the size of the food festival at the weekend it was allowed to extend onto all the additional land which we could have used for the Horse Trials and the extent of damage caused to the land is such that it will not be possible for it to repair in sufficient time for our event . We are very sorry this decision has had to be made . We will arrange for 100% entry refunds to be made to all those who were kind enough to support our event .
