It is with great sadness that I announce Stafford Horse Trials 2022 will not be running.

We would like to thank you for your entries and support.  We assure you that we are equally disappointed, we are devastated to not be running what could possibly have been the last Stafford Horse Trials.  And after two years under covid restrictions with the team running two fabulous events, we really had hoped to have run at least one last ‘normal’ event.  We have our fingers crossed that there are further delays with HS2.

With too few entries to fill one day, and as a green fields rented site, we are unable to break even running only one day. Unfortunately we can not delay the decision and wait to see if we will receive further entries, if we ‘hold out’ we start to incur further costs in addition to what we have already lost.
