British Equestrian partners with Fairfax & Favor

British Equestrian is delighted to announce a new supplier partnership with British luxury brand Fairfax & Favor. The agreement covers the dressage, eventing, jumping and para-dressage teams at their annual international championships, with the company’s trademark lifestyle boots and belts for the horse inspections, meaning our riders and officials stand out from the crowd.

Our teams were seen sporting Fairfax & Favor at the recent Senior European Championships in Riesenbeck, Hagen and Avenches as the first championship under the new agreement – the ladies in Heeled Regina boots and Hampton belts, while the gents wore Chelsea boots and Narford belts. Next year features World Championships where the teams will be in action, with dressage, jumping and para-dressage in Herning, Denmark from 06–14 August, then it’s a trip to Partoni del Vivaro in Italy for the eventers from 14–18 September.

The brand started when the then teenagers Marcus Fairfax Fontaine and Felix Favor Parker decided starting a business together was where their future lay, eventually deciding on the shoe trade, and they’ve worked up from most humble beginnings to a now global brand. Their trademark boots, shoes, handbags, belts and interchangeable tassels are a firm favourite with city and country customers alike.

Marcus Fairfax Fountaine, co-founder of Fairfax & Favor, said of the partnership: “We are so proud to be partnering with British Equestrian and kitting out the riders and officials for the International Championships. As a brand with such strong equestrian roots, it’s the highest honour and we look forward to cheering them all on as they prepare for the World Championship next year.”

The company is committed to giving back. They’ve raised nearly £250,000 in the last five years for Breast Cancer Care. Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2021 runs throughout October and the team behind the brand have launched their 2021 collaboration to include limited edition signature Amira boots, tassels and boot socks all in a shade of pink, and 100% of the profits from every product in the range will go to the charity. They hope to raise a further £100,000 this year to support the vital work of the charity.

Continuing their will to support, Fairfax & Favor will also collaborate with British Equestrian on a supporters’ range featuring the ladies Hampton belt and boot tassels in patriotic red and navy. A percentage of every purchase will go towards supporting the championship teams in their bid for medal success. The products are due to launch early next year, so will make a great gift or treat for anyone in honour of a fantastic summer of championship medals, while helping the teams to future success – keep an eye out for the launch!

"It's an absolute pleasure to be announcing a formal alignment with Fairfax & Favor and to be welcoming them into the British Equestrian partnership group,” commented Jim Eyre, British Equestrian Chief Executive. “They are a fantastic company to work alongside and I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank them for their support of the sport, from the kitting out of the championship teams through to the support of the sport via the design and soon-to-be launched British Equestrian collection.”
