British Eventing Welcomes New Board Directors

Following a recruitment process at the end of 2019, we are pleased to announce Louise Jack and William Cursham as British Eventing’s two new Non-Executive Board Directors.

Louise and William complete the BE Board of nine Directors and bring a wealth of experience, skills and knowledge through their personal careers and involvement with the sport.

Louise, who has competed up to intermediate level, is a chartered accountant and during her executive career in banking has had a specific focus on using technology to improve organisations’ performance.

As Legal Director at Gateley Plc, a top-50 ranked UK law firm, Founder and Chairman of ProCon Nottinghamshire, William brings a wealth of experience in communications and dispute resolution. His own involvement with eventing and competition experience up to BE Novice level was inspired by both his parents who competed at the top levels.

Chairman Fiona O’Hara said; “I am delighted that Louise and William are joining the BE Board. Their combined skills and experience will be put to good use across IT, change management and communication and we are very much looking forward to welcoming them to the BE Board.”
