Baileys Horse Feeds Somerford Park International, 20-22 August

All 3 members of Britain’s gold medal winning team from the Tokyo will be descending om Somerford Park in Cheshire later this month for The Baileys Horse Feeds Somerford Park International Horse Trials.

Highlights of the fixture will be its CCI-S3* and CCI-S2* classes, along with a host of other action from Open Intermediate down to BE100.

Individual silver medallist Tom McEwen has multiple entries, as do his Tokyo team mates, Oliver Townend and Laura Collett.

Competing against them – also with multiple entries - will be Piggy March, who opted not to take up her Olympic reserve position and Ros Canter who was travelling reserve for Tokyo. Recently crowned British National Champion, Izzy Taylor also has a large contingent across the levels. We also welcome Zara Tindall who is set to make the trip to Cheshire for what is looking to be a packed programme of hot competition.

“We are very excited to play host to all the riders. It will be a fabulous opportunity for spectators to see some of their favourite stars, including our victorious Olympic team members in action,” commented Millie Heffernan, co-organiser.

Firmly establishing itself as Cheshire’s premier equestrian venue, Somerford also plays host to the Lemieux National Dressage Championships and a series of Premier League dressage events throughout the year.

Admission prices start at £10 per car. Tickets for the can be purchased in advance online at https://bit.ly/3i6Jaid or on the gate. Further information including entries, results and directions can be found here
