Summary:
Richard has had a long and consistent career as a rider,producing a large number of horses over the years and winning at one,two and three day events. Young horses and top class Connemara competition ponies are still produced. He has 40 years experience within the sport having also been an Organiser, Technical Advisor and XC Course Designer alongside his main role as a Coach. This experience allows for an all inclusive approach to training , providing riders with knowledge from all aspects of the sport. Riders of all levels are catered for and have included several Pony, Junior and Young Rider team members and medalists. Main aims of training are to provide the necessary technical skills but always in an environment that cultivates self belief and confidence thus allowing riders to achieve their goals. Richard has been a BE Youth Coach for the Wales and West Midlands region for a number of years providing training and guidance for 12-21 riders.
