ACE

ACE your eventing skills with British Eventing.

The exciting Championships culminating at Aintree Equestrian Centre

Harry Hall One Club - Anyone Can Event (ACE), is an Arena style eventing competition which runs throughout the winter months and into spring providing riders with the ideal opportunity to get out, develop their skills and enjoy competing during the shorter daylight hours. A range of height classes will be offered from 70cm up to 1m and will be available to anyone aged 10 upwards, helping to encourage younger riders into the sport.

QUALIFIERS

Qualifying competitions are organised and run by the venue, competitors are requested to abide by the venue’s rules and guidance when competing there. Qualifying venues will be provided with rules, regulations and format details relating to how each qualifier should be run.

Riders will not need to be members of BE to take part in the qualifiers.

Riders compete in their cross country kit, including cross country colours, and will take on a course of show jumps followed by a simulated cross country course of knock-down fences.

Classes are split into two age ranges, seniors and under 18's (U18). Whilst the qualifiers will see all age groups compete together, the Championship Final will see the two age categories split.  Those competing in the U18 classes are not to have attained their 18th birthday on or before the date of the Championships. (ACE Scotland Championships, age categories will not be split)

Competitors who qualify for the BE ACE Championships at Aintree Equestrian Centre and the ACE Scotland Championships at The Scottish National Equestrian Centre (SNEC) will receive a British Eventing ACE Championships qualification email from the BE Office on receipt of the results at BE from the Qualifying venues. Upon receipt of the qualification email competitors will have 14 days to become a member (minimum PAYG) of BE to retain their qualification.  Failure to do this will result in the qualification being passed down the line to the next placed combination that have not already qualified. Qualifying period is between 1st October and mid May and January to March for ACE Scotland.

Qualification is as follows:

For 70cm, 80cm & 90cm classes

  • below 15 starters in a class > top 4 qualify
  • up to and incl 30 starters in a class > top 6 qualify
  • 31 or more starters in a class >top 8 qualify

For 100 cm class

  • below 15 starters in a class > top 6 qualify
  • up to and incl 30 starters in a class > top 8 qualify
  • 31 or more starters in a class >top 10 qualify

British Eventing reserve the right to increase the number of qualifying places from ACE
Qualifiers and include those combinations who feature in the Newcomers BE80, BE90 & BE100
Leagues.
